More Than 21 Bends are the following people

Helen

Joint owner of More Than 21 Bends. In her previous incarnation Helen spent 15 years working as criminal defence solicitor, and is now enjoying meeting a nicer kind of client! It is Helen who you will be in touch with regarding your reservations and logisitcs, she is also available to help with any information once you have arrived. Helen rides a commencal mountain bike, so please feel free to try to persaud her to try a road bike. A reward will be offered! Helen is an ITEC qualified massage therapist, and holds an emergency first aid certificate.

Phil

Joint owner of More Than 21 Bends. Phil has been riding bikes for as long as he can remember but started competing seriously in cyclo cross events in the late 1980's with Bournemouth Arrows. Phil switched to mountain biking in the mid nineties and rode mostly for leisure with the Bigfoot Mountain bike club in Gloucestershireand has competed in the Megavalanche a couple of times . Since moving to France he has switched back to road riding and supports and runs most of the More Than 21 Bends cycle tours. Most of the blogs , tweets and email newsletters are composed by Phil. He is first aid qualified and is also a qualified mountain bike guide via the OTC in the UK. As if he was not busy enough already he also owns and manages the PROMPT.CC shop in Bourg d'Oisans.

Gayle

Gayle manages our self-catering properties, reservations, and customer care. She has previously worked extensively in the world of adventure travel before finally becoming rooted in the village of Bourg d'Oisans, all thanks to a cycling mad husband! Gayle loves to chat and being a serious shopaholic loves getting her hands on the latest PROMPT.CC shop merchandise and offering her advice on those must haves! And being Scottish can make a pot of porridge good enough to fuel anyone in getting up Alpe d'huez!

Andy

Our Marketing guru and brother-in-law works for us on an adhoc basis covering cycle shows and media relations. He does all this for new bikes or exciting cycling trips.
