Ride from the south coast of France through the French Alps back to our base in Bourg d'Oisans at the base of Alpe d'Huez. Fully supported cycling tour
Arrive - Nice airport or station where we will pick you up and transfer
you to our hotel for the night in Menton. Please arrange to be
at the airport at about 4PM.
Day 1 - 79km - Menton to Saint-Martin-Vésubie via the Col de Castillon (800m)
and Col de Turini (1604m)
Day 2 - 57km - Saint-Martin-Vésubie to Valberg via Col St Martin (1500m)
and the Col de la Couillole (1678m)
Day 3 - 77km - Valberg to Barcelonnette via the Col de la Cayolle
(2326m) and Valberg (1673m)
Day 4 - Day off in Barcelonnette
Day 5 - 104km - Barcelonnette to Briançon via the Col de Vars (2019m)
and Col d'Izoard (2360m)
Day 6 - 90km - Briançon to Bourg d'Oisans via the Col du Lautaret, Col
du Galibier and Alpe d'Huez
Depart - Bourg d'Oisans. After breakfast we will drop you off at
Grenoble train
station for 12PM
What is included
Airport or station pickups at times described above.
Breakfast on 6 days and evening meals on 6 days. You will need to eat
out at your own expense on the rest day and in Bourg d'Oisans
Full vehicle support through out the tour except on our day off on day 4
What is not included
Travel to Nice and from Grenoble Station
Meals outside of breakfast and dinner
All drinks and snacks
Bike repairs and maintenance
