Day 5 Col du Lautaret and Les Deux Alpes

After breakfast in Briançon we will be climbing up the Col du Lautaret as far as the bottom of the Col du Galibier - time to remember the pain from day 3 - before taking a left and descending through the majestic valley towards Les Deux Alpes. This ride has some long tunnels up to 800 metres long so lights are recommended - obviously the support vehicle will be there to guide you through as well !

Agenda for the day

• Starting from Briançon
• Climb and descend the Col du Lautaret
• Stop in La Grave for lunch - La Grave is an off-piste ski resort in the winter and the views of the glacier on La Meije will be one of the most fantastic views you have seen on the tour.
• After lunch we will take the road to the start of the climb to Les Deux Alpes
• Finishing in Les Deux Alpes
• Eat in Smokey Joes
