Day 3 Col du Télégraphe and the Col du Galibier

After breakfast in our first stop over away from Bourg d'Oisans we will be hitting another 2 major climbs of the Tour de France. Although a shorter day in terms of kilometres (approx 80km) this is still another big day in the mountains so should not be under estimated. Once at the top of the Galibier it is pretty much downhill all the way to our stop over in Briançon

Agenda for the day

• Starting in Saint Jean de Maurienne we will quickly be on to the Col du Télégraphe
• Climb and descend the Col  du Télégraphe
• Climb and descend the massive Col du Galibier the highest point on the tour
• Lunch at the top of the Col du Lautaret - we will be visiting the Lautaret again on Day 5 (this time on the climb)
• Descend the eastern side of the Col du Lautaret - approximately 35km to Briançon
• Finishing in Briançon where we will be checking into our accommodation for two nights and eating in a local restaurant.
